Beautiful work! What Sci-Fi films, books and other media inspired you?

thank you!
i'm so glad you like it!
the spider itself is an actual spider i saw at a biologist website, it looked amazing and just drew the rest of the image from there on.
i love sci-fi in general, but this has a massive MOEBIUS influence, whom i adore, and on he's work you can see multiple alien-like riders.
also, the attire and the distressed aspect of all clothing and apparel probably comes from the original STAR WARS films.

glad you like it!

i've been doing digital only stuff for only a couple of months and i'm really happy with it.
i haven't settled on one against the other; but i do enjoy developing a piece in the same environment from beginning to end.
i'm never happy with the transferring process from paper to digital, bitmap is so sharp, great for coloring, but things dont look as hand made and a lot of subtle stuff is lost; grayscale has a photographic aspect but is never exactly what you had on paper, and it's hard for me to decide how far to burn of lighten something...
in digital you're there all the time, all lines are native to all other lines and even colors.
